Clean Water Design and Implementation Block Grant
Mount Ascutney Regional Commission is pleased to announce a Rolling Round of funding under the Clean Water Design & Implementation Block Grant program (DIBG) funded by the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation to support engineering design and construction of clean water projects statewide. Applications will be reviewed upon submission, awarded and subgrant issued within 21 days contingent upon all required application materials having been submitted. All projects must be completed by no later than October 1, 2024.
Funding for a particular sector (i.e., stormwater, natural resources, etc.) may be limited as this program is winding down. We recommend contacting us at [email protected] to confirm project eligibility and availability of funds before applying.
Grant requirements are governed by the FY21 Clean Water Initiative Program Funding Policy. However, applications for remaining FY21 funding will be subject to the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation (VDHP) project review requirements outlined in the new FY23 CWIP Funding Policy as a deliverable or application requirement depending on project phase. Project types, performance measures, milestones and all other deliverables can be found in the FY21 policy document.
As noted in the application form, not all project types listed in the Policy are eligible for this program funding. Note that a subgrant agreement with MARC may also include additional deliverables (i.e., deliverables NOT noted in the FY21 Funding Policy) to satisfy the new VDHP project review requirements.
If you have not participated in this program in the past and want to be included on our email distribution list, please send your contact information to [email protected].
Please continue to send all materials and direct all inquiries to [email protected].
