Cavendish Fire District #2 has a conceptual plan for a solar carport and is seeking proposals for final design and construction from qualified contractors. The proposed location for the carport is at the back of the fire station’s paved parking lot at 2154 Main Street in Cavendish. Please note that the Fire District’s ability to award a contract for this project is contingent on funding availability.

Cavendish Fire District # 2 is seeking bids for Fire Station Window Replacement & Historic Window Refurbishment
Cavendish Fire District #2 is seeking bids from qualified contractors to replace and/or refurbish the windows in the historic Fire Station building, located at 2154 Main Street in Cavendish. Town of Weathersfield – Bowen Hill Road Scoping Study
The Town of Weathersfield is requesting proposals for consulting engineering services to gather data on existing conditions, review possible remedies for roadway flooding, develop a benefit cost analysis (BCA) using FEMA methodologies, and preliminary/conceptual design of a project to reduce future damage and repairs needed for Bowen Hill. The project will result in a cost-effective design that will follow best-management practices, provide safe travel for the public, and reduce environmental impacts to streams in the area.

Windsor Railyards Site Improvements, Windsor, Vermont
The Town of Windsor, Vermont invites separate sealed bids for site improvements located on their property, known as “Windsor Railyards” located north and south of Depot Avenue east of the railroad, in Windsor, Vermont. The purpose of this project is the installation of a six-inch (6”) soil cap over the former Windsor Railyards (+/- 2.8 acres) located west of the railroad on Depot Avenue, in accordance with the Windsor Railyards (SMS#20134397) Corrective Action Plan. The civil site work also includes limited removal of debris and vegetation, limited excavation, temporary erosion and sediment control measures, and establishment of permanent vegetation.

The Mount Ascutney Regional Commission (MARC) seeks bids from qualified earthwork contractors for the removal of a concrete dam and accumulated sediment and construction of a new stream channel. The project site is located immediately downstream of the intersection of Valley Street and Litchfield Street in Springfield, Vermont.
Primary work components include demolition and removal of the existing concrete spillway and walls, excavation and hauling of accumulated sediment, furnishing gravel and stone for new stream channel, construction of stream channel, seeding and mulching.

West Windsor - Seeking Consultant Services for the Development of a Comprehensive Improvement Plan
The consultant working on this project with the Town of West Windsor will engage stakeholders in a comprehensive planning process that will guide local policy decisions and capital investment. The planning process will focus on improving multi-modal connectivity both within the village of Brownsville, and between the village and the adjacent residential, commercial, and recreational areas on Mt. Ascutney. The improvement plan is expected to address wayfinding, traffic calming , the provision of amenities like benches & bike racks, an analysis of parking needs, options for the redevelopment of the fire station site, and any other improvements needed to support economic and community development within the village and between the village and the mountain, as envisioned in the West Windsor Town Plan.
