The Southern Windsor County Regional Plan was amended on June 25, 2018 with the inclusion of the Regional Energy Plan. The 2018 Regional Plan became effective on July 30, 2018. MARC is required to adopt a regional plan in accordance with the Act [24 V.S.A §4348]. Volumes 1, 2 and 3 of the Regional Plan are adopted together as one document. The Regional Plan is established for the purposes stated in  24 V.S.A. §4347, to include all required statutory elements  [24 V.S.A. §4348a], and to be consistent with State Planning Goals  [24 V.S.A. §4302]. 

It also meets the enhanced energy planning requires in  24 V.S.A. §4352. The MARC Board of Commissioners established a Regional Plan Subcommittee to help in the development and update of the Regional Plan.  Click here to download our Regional Plan.
